Today, there is increasing emphasis on the bathroom. Practicality, design, decoration, and the quality of fixtures and furniture are all factors to consider in making it as pleasant as possible. Indeed, it is a room shared not only by household members but also by guests, and it is considered a space for well-being and relaxation.

In this article, we will focus on toilet flush plates, a component of the main element of the bathroom, namely the toilet.

Toilets are composed of the same elements: bowl, seat, tank, and flush mechanism with the control device. Installing a concealed cistern allows for a more aesthetic finish and space-saving by hiding the flush mechanism and tank behind the wall.

Flush plates remain the visible part of the mechanism. This is why we find a greater variety of models, with increasing innovation and research in functionality and design.

The different release systems

Flush plates have a number of advantages: they are practical because they can be removed easily, giving access to the flushing mechanism, and they are easy to clean.

What’s more, the research and innovation that has gone into their design adds a modern touch to the bathroom. They’re also easy to change if you want to give your bathroom a new look.

There are 3 types of flush plate:

  • Manual release plates : which activate the flush by pressing the button.
  • Pneumatic activation: the push button plate lowers the pressure required to flush the toilet. When activated, it bridges the distance between the control and the release mechanism. By holding down the button, the amount of flushing water can be increased to the full flush volume.
  • Electronically triggered: the mechanism is battery-operated or mains-operated. Sensors detect the user’s movements and the flush will be activated once the user leaves the detection zone. Alternatively, there is an infrared device, which the user passes their hand in front of to activate the flush.

Tigger plates are numerous and varied: single or double flush, round or rectangular…
